Equity Scholarship 2017
The Council of International Students Australia (CISA) Scholarships recognises the contributions of international students in advocacy work. The award will support international student leaders attending higher education institutions in all sectors including postgraduate, undergraduate, TAFE, VET, ELICOS and Foundation. The award will include financial support to attend the 2017 CISA National Conference.
Over the years, CISA has had the pleasure of witnessing international student’s individual achievement in advocacy and their amazing contribution to their communities. To appreciate and recognise international students’ passion and hard, 15 CISA Scholarships will be presented in three categories:
3.TAFE, VET, ELICOS, and Foundation
The winners will be notified through email and phone. They will also be announced on the CISA Website and all the social media platforms.

Thursday 1 June 2017 – Announcements of the Scholarships Recipients
Eligibility Criteria for the Nomination
- Must be an international student representative (non-resident of Australia) and holds a valid visa for study in Australia
- Currently studying or completed a course within the last 6 months (including Postgraduate, Undergraduate and VET/TAFE)
- Nominations are to be made by education institution. Self-nominations will not be accepted
- Two referees who agree to be contacted to provide further information on the nominations must be included
