CISA National Conference is the main annual platform for students and stakeholders with an interested in advancing international students’ interests and needs to discuss the myriad of challenges in the international education sector.
It is also where CISA holds its annual general meeting to elect its national executives and present awards to celebrate the outstanding achievements made by international students for the past year.

The conference is about empowering international students and celebrating their contribution to the Australian community. The conference program has been planned with a focus to not only provide students with important information but also give them a platform so we can hear what they have to say on a range of different topics.

In an effort to encourage collaboration of our stakeholders, members and international students, our theme for this years conference is a discussion of best practices where students are part of the equation. We encourage speakers and conference attendee to discuss their solutions to international student issues and how they have overcome any obstacles that might have occurred.

The Canberra Institute of Technology is a vocational education provider in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory, and is one of a system of TAFEs. Qualification offered by CIT range from certificate to degree level.

The annual conference page will be on our CISA website – http//www.cisa.edu.au. This will be the first stop for the latest conference information along with on-line registration. It will also contain a brief introduction from each sponsor (including their logos).
Conference Program (Printed and Virtual Delegate Handbook)
Once the conference program has taken its final shape, a delegate handbook will be prepared. This will contain information about each of our sponsors and will give the sponsors an opportunity to add a message for the conference delegates.

Emails will be sent out to attending delegates, universities and interested parties. Each email will have the logo of major sponsors on them. As a major sponsor of the CISA Annual Conference in 2017, your company will be promoted to our members, delegates who come to the conference, and to those who have an interested in international education.

Our increasing digital presence and social media engagement will be another crucial platform to reach out to the students.
As a potential sponsor, you can consider one aspect of the conference or any one given event in the conference as described below. Apart from having exclusive Naming Rights to the event, other benefits include post-event highlights, website, and feature in the delegate handbook.
Gala Dinner ($7,500)
The Conference Gala Dinner is a good opportunity for like-minded delegates with common interests to network.

Opening/ Closing Plenary (2 slots/ $3,000 per session)
The Plenary Sessions are an unique opportunity to leave a remarkable impression to attendees and provide sponsors a high level of exposure with your company brand being associated with the mateiral presented at the session(s).

Awards Series Sponsorship ($2,00 per Award)
As CISA represents students from across the different sector, the following award categories are available for sponsors to associate themselves with:
Equity Scholarships ($1,500 per Student)
As international student association/committee often has a limited budget, sometimes they are unable to cover the necessary travel expenses which will enable their international students to be able to attend the conference.
Your organisation can help to alleviate their burden by sponsoring an Equity Scholarship. CISA would like to be able to provide 12 international students with a $1,500 travel scholarship each so they may be able to attend.
If you would like to customise your sponsorship and exhibition package, we are more than happy to tailor a package that best suits your business needs.

For all sponsorship and exhibition packages, the following payment terms apply: 100% deposit is required to secure your booking.
Please note: Sponsors and Exhibitors will be invoiced by CISA. Organisations may be omitted from the conference program and other materials without notice if final payment is not received by 5 May 2017. All quoted figures are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
A cancellation fee of 50% and cost of production (where applicable) will be applied for any Sponsorship Package or Exhibition books canceled up to 45 days prior to the conference. There will be no refund after 20 June 2016.
