2016 CISA National Conference Scholarship

The CISA Scholarships recognise the contributions of international students in advocacy work. To support the adequate representation of the student leaders in all sectors, including postgraduate, undergraduate and TAFE/VET at 2016 CISA National Conference, 13 students will be sponsored to attend the conference.

The scholarships are divided into two categories which are the Equity Scholarship and the VET Advocates Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for the Nomination

Equity Scholarship

  • Must be an international student representative (non-resident of Australia) and holds a valid visa for study in Australia
  • Currently studying or completed a course within the last 6 months (including Postgraduate, Undergraduate and VET/TAFE)
  • Nominations are to be made by education institution. Self-nominations will not be accepted
  • Two referees who agree to be contacted to provide further information on the nominations must be included

VET Advocates Scholarship

  • Must be an international student representative (non-resident of Australia) and holds a valid visa for study in Australia
  • Currently studying or completed a VET/TAFE course within the last 6 months
  • Nominations are to be made by education institution. Self-nominations will not be accepted
  • Two referees who agree to be contacted to provide further information on the nominations must be included
